Every Being has life-long dreams and goals that comes with a specific purpose. “Some find it earlier, some find it later and some have never found it”. Finding this precious “Truth” is an important discovery in this journey we call “Life.” However, if we are able to live out this “Truth”, it would certainly be of greater privilege and fulfilment. Some will live it earlier, some will live it later, and some unfortunately will never live it.

The story of my corporate career started with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Montana, USA, in 1993. The illustrious career was primarily developed with 6 Banking Groups over a period of almost 20 years.

However, the most fulfilling aspect of  my career span was…..People Development. My belief is that in every organization, there are people worth developing, leaders to be groomed, and lives that will be transformed permanently.  Over the course of my journey, I have had the privilege to work with young and senior executives, using structured development programs and mentoring processes to develop leaders.

While in pursuit of making my belief a reality, I was given the opportunity to attend a Leadership Development program at the INSEAD Business School by one of the regional banks. I was so impassioned by my experience, that I am now a John Maxwell Team certified Leadership Trainer and Coach, fully committed to finding ways to enrich lives through Leadership Coaching.

We cannot deny that every individual has the potential and capacity to be developed…only if they are willing, of course. Leadership exists everywhere but when it is accompanied with conviction and passion, it will be sustainable and transformational through time!

Donald graduated with a Bachelor in Business (Accounting) from University of Montana, USA. He had a banking career span of almost 20 years, with the last 10 years in senior management, and held multiple roles in SME Banking, Mid-sized Corporate and Corporate Banking for 6 Global & Regional Banks, namely, Public Bank, United Overseas Bank (UOB), Citibank, BDO Capital Consultants, Standard Chartered Bank, Alliance Bank, and CIMB Bank.

The core expertise developed was to drive business remodelling and growth in the SME, Mid-sized and Corporate Banking segments. His wide spectrum of experience include Business & Financial Management, Strategic Planning & Development, Acquisition & Relationship Management, Credit & Risk Management, Product Development, Branding & Marketing, Stakeholders’ Management, Partners’ Collaboration, Project Management Office, Regional Banking, Consulting and people development.

In his senior management roles, managing stakeholders with Regulators, Governmental Agencies, and Business Partners was integral; which over time created a varied and diverse knowledge in Relationship Management.

He also gets involved in advisory capacity and engages in speaking engagement with Educational and Learning Institutions.
